Strike the Tent Trailer

March 14th, 2010 Rahmadhita No comments

Based on a true story: This is a journey through the psyche of a Southern captain in the waning days of the American Civil War. In an emotionally charged performance, Julian Adams portrays his great-great grandfather Robert Adams, a strong willed southern Captain, who used his guns and his heart of fire to rally his men to fight for their lands. Filled with passion, blood and tragedy, “The Last Confederate: The Story of Robert Adams” is the tumultuous true story of a man divided by love for country and for Eveline mccord, his beloved girl from the north. Produced and written by the descendents of Robert and Eveline, this is an explosive, richly detailed saga of fierce combat, honor and the will to risk all that’s precious for love or country.

Travel Trailers Make A Good Match For Couples

March 14th, 2010 Rahmadhita No comments

Do you love traveling but don’t think a full size motor home is right for you? Then small travel trailers might be right for you. The small size makes them easy to tow, easy to use, and a great weekend getaway.

Travel Trailers are Perfect for Couples
Who says that once your kids leave you have to have empty nest syndrome? Once the kids are gone, you can pack up your small RV and hit the road. No need to stay in expensive hotel rooms. No need to pack up several tents and load up with sodas. When it is just the two of you, you can jump in your trailer and take off.

Size Does Make a Difference
When you are pulling a lightweight trailer, all you need is a small truck or SUV. You hook it up to the trailer hitch and drive away. Since it is so lightweight and usually only ten feet long, maneuvering is a synch. Not to mention, the smaller trailers are aerodynamic making them good on gas mileage as well.

No Hotel Needed
Although small, these small trailers are perfect for traveling in style. Wherever you go, you take your own bed, kitchen, bathroom and entertainment with you. No more wondering how clean a hotel is or looking for a clean bathroom. You always know that you have a clean place right behind your truck.

Travel trailers come with air conditioning, heating, bathroom, shower, refrigerator and slide out rooms. It is like taking your mini house with you wherever you go. Not to mention, you can find good campsites anywhere you want to go. While you might  need to make camping reservations during busy seasons, most of the time you can just show up and camp.

Short Trips, Long Trips, the Travel Trailer is Ready
You might think that you have to stay local since your trailer doesn’t have much room for supplies. However, you can pull up to a local Wal-Mart and restock at any time. Once you reach your campsite, you can unhitch and drive off in your car to purchase more supplies.

If you are gone for extended times, then you can easily unhitch and drive to a laundry mat. Your trailer will be waiting safely back at your campsite while you tour the city or get errands done.

Travel trailers can turn empty nest syndrome into fun filled vacation getaways. They are just the right size for two people to travel in full comfort.

Market For Trailers

March 14th, 2010 Rahmadhita No comments

Trailers are indispensable when we have something large or a huge amount of goods or materials to transport. Enclosed trailers can even serve as  mobile homes (used for camping and travelling) or to carry animals. Depending on the purpose, we can distinguish numerous types of open and enclosed trailers ranging from single to 6-axle.

Types and uses of trailers

Enclosed toy trailers can be towed by van or pickup truck and using them doesn’t require any permit or special driving license. Some smaller ones – for bikes or motorcycle are light enough to be towed with an average car.

When it comes to travel trailers, they usually require at least mid-size pickup truck. The basic trailers of that type are little more than a tin tent, however some have a kitchen, shower, toilet and other facilities. When it comes to weight, the lightest ones have only 700 pounds, while the most heavy ones even 5,000. Travel trailers are popular in North America, Australia, New Zealand and Europe.

Another popular type of trailers is designed to carry livestock – usually horses and cattle. They are enclosed with some gaps for ventilation.  Those for racing horses are the most comfortable and have many additional features to provide security – to make sure the animals are in good condition for the competitions.

The biggest enclosed trailers can have even 18 wheels. Those are mostly so called semi-trailers (as they have no front axle and are supported by a road tractor). They can measure over 8 ft in width and 53 ft in length.

Looking for trailers for sale?

Whether you are looking for new or used trailer for sale, there are many possibilities. When it comes to new, the only problem is money. Even if you need special-purpose trailer (e.g. for racing teams etc.), you can have it custom build. When it comes to used, there are many options to consider. One has to ask himself if it is better to buy from a dealer and have a warranty, or look for offers of private sellers and save a bit more.  When searching for enclosed trailers, there are many accessories that may rise the value. The most popular are alarms with GPS capability that give extra protection for the cargo. The easiest way to compare various offers is to browse classifieds in the Internet.

Choosing the Right Camping Tent

March 14th, 2010 Rahmadhita No comments

Selecting the right camping tent can be the important factor in whether your next camping trip is packed full of great memories, or a damp disaster that you need to forget. There are such a lot of things to consider when buying your next camping tent , for example size, style, shape, weight, ventilation, fabric, poles, and so on. These are some points to consider before you purchase next camping tent.

Tents come in a selection of classifications, each built to meet categorical weather conditions and camping wants. Two-Season Tents, designed for very nice weather, are reasonable. Made with light fabric, they supply good ventilation, but not very much protection from the elements. Built to provide shelter in heavy weather, the Four-Season tent has a low, curving shape to stop a massive build-up of snow. It frequently has a full coverage fly and foyer, and has more poles, more guy-points and lines for staking. It is made from heavier duty fabric than 2 or 3 season tents so it can bear torrential rain and snowfall. There’s less ventilation with a four-season tent, and these tents weigh more than the 2 or 3 season tents. The four-season tent is excellent for camping in the mountains or in intensely cold weather, but offers poor ventilation for warm or moderate weather camping.

Unless you’re camping on a trailer, camping tents are one of the most critical camping appliances but they might not be as simple as the general public need it to be, at least when it comes to selecting the right tent.

You have to first decide who many individuals you’re going to house with the tent and get the one which homes another extra. Different camping tents are also made for the different seasons and climate. If you’re expecting powerful winds, you may need to get a tent with a robust skeleton yet aerodynamic and have multiple tie-downs.

Camping tents that are fast to set up and keeps you dry would do wonders at a place where it’s cool and known to shower often. A tent with an overhang that keeps away water splashing up from the ground keeps you dry when the rains are heavy. Ensure that the tent also provides ventilation.

You might also encounter robust winds, even thunderstorms in the desert so ensure your camping tent can bear such conditions. Try and avoid zips due to the sand and because there aren’t trees around make you are your tents don’t need trees to other natural still objects to keep your tent upright.

Its rounded, streamlined shape provides sturdiness and strength against wind. They offer good floor space, but not very much headroom. They supply good ventilation, and are freestanding. Screen Homes are really spacious, and supply an excellent place to chill and entertain while giving shelter from the sun, rain, and bugs. Another thing to be considered when purchasing your tent is the quantity of folk that’ll be occupying the tent. There are Solo Camping Tents, which are compact, light, and supply a comfy area for one individual. These tents are also light, sturdy and flexible. Camping Tents come in several sizes, from four to 9 folk. 4 Season / Expedition Tents are comparatively small,They typically sleep two to three folks, they’re made to resist intense weather conditions and be comfy at the same time, superb for mountaineering or expeditions.
